LSBF Hardship Scholarship

For students from underprivileged backgrounds who have demonstrated financial need.

Programmes Eligible: Foundation & Diploma
Selection Criteria: Malaysian Students with a household income below a specified threshold, supported by financial documentation.
Value: 35% – 75% of tuition fees
Application Deadlines: Two weeks before Orientation

LSBF Global Excellence Scholarship

The Foundation Scholarship is merit-based and offered to students who have completed SPM and O Levels with outstanding results.

Programmes Eligible: Foundation
Selection Criteria: Malaysian students with a minimum of 5A’S in SPM or O-Levels
Value: 100% of tuition fees
Application Deadlines: Two weeks before Orientation
Programmes Eligible: Diploma
SPM Score: Scholarship Value
7As and above: 100% Scholarship of Tuition Fee
4As to 6As: 50% Scholarship of Tuition Fee

LSBF B40 Scholarship Plan

To provide financial assistance and educational opportunities to students from the B40 category, enabling them to pursue higher education

Programmes Eligible: Foundation & Diploma
Selection Criteria:

-Malaysian citizen from the B40 group (household income below RM4,850/month)
-Completed SPM, STPM, A-Levels or equivalent
-Academic requirement: e.g., 5 credits in SPM or CGPA ≥ 2.5

Demonstrated financial need, supported by relevant documents such as income statements, B40 eligibility verification from e-Kasih, or other local authorities.
Demonstrates potential through academic achievements, leadership roles, or active participation in extra-curricular activities.
Value: 50% – 100% of tuition fees
Application Deadlines: Two weeks before Orientation

Scholarship Conditions

To continue enjoying the benefits of an LSBF Malaysia scholarship, recipients must adhere to the following conditions:

1. Maintain Academic Performance

A minimum CGPA of 3.0 must be maintained throughout the academic year.

2. Adherence to Conduct & Policy

Scholarships may be revoked if a student fails to meet academic standards or violates conduct policies.

3. Program Completion

Students must complete the programme as outlined in the scholarship agreement.

4. Active Participation

Scholarship recipients are expected to take part in LSBF Malaysia’s student activities, ambassador programmes, or approved community service initiatives.

Annual Budget

RM200,000 allocated annually for the LSBF B40 Scholarship Program.

Number of Scholarships Awarded Per Year

Full Scholarships: 20 per year (100% tuition coverage)
Partial Scholarships: 30 per year (50%–75% tuition coverage)
